Esta escultura en bronce presa una tonelada y mide 1.55mts; representa un homenaje al aviselino Juan Carreño de Miranda, pintor de la corte de Carlos II, con el paso del tiempo se ha convertido en símbolo de la ciudad.

Actividades Frontenis 2018

Publicado el

Celebración del Centenario

Comida del Centenario. Inscrita en la conmemoración de este
importante acontecimiento, se llevó a cabo una animada comida
en los jardines del parque. En el convivio participaron más de 100
personas entre jugadores, familiares y amigos.
Competencias del Centenario. En el marco de estas festividades,
se celebraron nueve torneos en la modalidad de dobles, en los
que se dio cabida a ambos géneros y a todos los niveles de juego de
los practicantes del frontenis.

Competencias Internas
De conformidad con el calendario de competencias, se verificaron
los siguientes torneos: Dobles e Individuales de Primera Fuerza;
Dobles de Segunda Fuerza; Dobles de Veteranos; Día del Socio;
Del Pavo. En este último torneo se compitió en las modalidades
de Damas; Primera-Segunda Fuerzas; Veteranos-Segunda Fuerza y
Tercera Fuerza.

Torneos Interclubes
Como ya es tradicional, los torneos interclubes se llevaron a
cabo contando con la participación de las selecciones del Centro
Asturiano, así como las de los principales clubes y centros deportivos
de la Ciudad de México, compitiéndose en las categorías de
primera y segunda fuerzas y veteranos. En el de Primera Fuerza
nuestra selección ganó el primer lugar; en el de Segunda Fuerza
se obtuvo el segundo lugar y en el de Veteranos se finalizó en la
cuarta posición.

Ceremonia de Entrega de Trofeos de los Torneos de 2017
En un concurrido evento presidido por Raúl Alonso Escudero,
se llevó a cabo la premiación a los ganadores de los torneos de
frontenis verificados durante el año de 2017.

Romería del Socio.
Se tuvo una entusiasta participación en el tradicional desfile
deportivo de la Romería del Socio con un nutrido contingente
de frontenistas; se llevaron a cabo los torneos programados con
motivo de esta festividad, y se celebró una animada comida-convivio
en los jardines del Parque.

Ceremonias de Premiación de los Torneos Interclubes.
Jugadores, familiares y Directivos de la Rama de Frontenis
participaron en una comida en la que se premió a nuestro equipo
como ganador del Torneo de Primera Fuerza. De igual manera se
participó en la cena-baile en la que se premió a los ganadores de
los Torneos de Segunda Fuerza y de Veteranos.
